Liability In Truck Accidents
Truck drivers should always remain vigilant as they are completing their routes. There is simply no reason that a truck should ever rear-end another driver. According to California Vehicle Code 22350, “No person shall drive a vehicle upon a highway at a speed greater than is reasonable or prudent having due regard for weather, visibility, the traffic on, and the surface and width of, the highway, and in no event at a speed which endangers the safety of persons or property.”
Truck drivers that rear-end other vehicles are likely to be held at fault for the accident. The family members of any person that died due to the negligence of a truck driver may be able to seek justice through a wrongful death claim. A wrongful death attorney can examine all of the facts of your case and let you know what your options are.
