Liability In Gas Station Accidents
Tens of thousands of pedestrians are injured in car accidents every year in the United States. There is simply no reason for this. Drivers must exercise caution when they are moving around gas stations. According to California Vehicle Code 21950, “(c) The driver of a vehicle approaching a pedestrian within any marked or unmarked crosswalk shall exercise all due care and shall reduce the speed of the vehicle or take any other action relating to the operation of the vehicle as necessary to safeguard the safety of the pedestrian.” It is felony to operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Any person that is injured in a car accident with a drunk driver may have legal recourse through a bodily injury claim.
