One Person Killed In Santa Clarita Car Accident On Whites Canyon Road Near Ashboro Drive
SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA (November 3, 2019) – One person was killed and another person was injured in a car accident along Whites Canyon Road.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 10:30 p.m. For reasons that remain under investigation two vehicles collided head-on.
One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation remains ongoing.

Most head-on collisions take place when one driver crosses over a double yellow line. According to California Vehicle Code 21460, “If double parallel solid yellow lines are in place, a person driving a vehicle shall not drive to the left of the lines, except as permitted in this section.” The family of any victim that died in a pedestrian accident may have legal recourse through California Code of Civil Procedure 377.60.
