Bicyclist Killed In Oakland Car Accident With U-Haul Van By Second Avenue and East 12th Street
OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA (September 15, 2020) – A bicyclist was injured in a car accident with a U-Haul van by Second Avenue and East 12th Street.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 12:12 p.m. on Tuesday. For reasons that remain under investigation the U-haul van hit the 67-year-old woman on the motorcyclist while it was making a left turn.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the hospital in order to help the victim. She was taken to the hospital but later died due to her injuries. An investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
