Debra Arnette Jackson Died In Galt Car Accident With Drunk Driver On Highway 99
GALT, CALIFORNIA (July 20, 2021) – A pedestrian identified as Debra Jackson has tragically died in a car accident that involved a drunk driver along Highway 99.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 5:14 a.m. on Sunday. A driver swerved their vehicle to avoid debris in the roadway and struck Debra Jackson as she walked back to her car.
The force of the impact threw Debra Jackson into a field. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the woman. Sadly, Debra Jackson died following the crash.
One driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI. A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
