SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (April 21. 2020) – A man identified as Eric Riley was seriously injured in a car accident near Power Inn Road and Folsom Boulevard.

California Highway Patrol are saying that the collision took place around 1:00 a.m. For reasons that remain under investigation a car hit Eric Riley as he was walking.

That driver fled the scene and is currently being pursued by police. Paramedics arrived at the scene and took Eric Riley to the hospital.

An investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time.
