Felipe Balero Died In Hit-And-Run Car Accident Near The Intersection of West Avenue and Shields Avenue In Fresno

FRESNO, CALIFORNIA (July 20, 2021) – A homeless man identified as Felipe Balero has tragically died in a hit-and-run car accident near the intersection of West Avenue and Shields Avenue.

California Highway Patrol are saying that the collision took place on July 10th. Felipe Balero was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by a car.

The victim was then struck by three other vehicles. One of the first three vehicles fled the scene and is being sought by police. It was the last driver that stopped and called the police.

Tragically, Felipe Balero died following the crash. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
