4-Car crash on 5 freeway stalls traffic for hours

ORANGE COUNTY, CA (April 19, 2022) – A multi-car crash caused at least one injury on the 5 freeway heading northbound, according to the California Highway Patrol. 

The accident occurred during morning rush hour in Tustin near Route 55 and blocked several lanes, causing a traffic backup for at least seven miles. 

The status of the injured person is yet unknown.
