(Encinitas, CA) A collision with a train killed a pedestrian near Leucadia State Beach in Encinitas.

On Wednesday, May 14 a little after 9 a.m., authorities learned about the Vulcan Avenue train crash. They reported it occurred close to Vulcan Avenue and Jason Street.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, a train struck the pedestrian near the rail track. When first responders arrived at the scene of the Vulcan Avenue train crash, they pronounced the victim dead.
