Los Altos Hills, CA (July 29, 2023) 2 people are dead and 2 others injured after a wrong-way collision early Saturday morning in Los Altos Hills.
The driver of a Honda Civic was headed in the wrong direction on southbound Interstate 280 not far from the El Monte Road off ramp, when it collided with a Toyota Avalon.

California Highway Patrol said the driver and passenger in the Honda were both dead when they arrived at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Toyota, both said to be in their 40s, were severely injured and taken to a local hospital.
The driver of the Honda is suspected of driving under the influence.
