PALO ALTO, CA (AUGUST 1ST, 2023): A Palo Alto driver struck and killed a pedestrian Friday night, according to local authorities. The pedestrian was killed in the 1400 block of Kavanaugh Drive at around 10:30 p.m while attempting to cross the street. The driver fled the scene before police arrived.
