Ojai, CA (October 4, 2023) Brigham Maloney, 20, and Conner Brooks, 20, were arrested for a hit-and-run that left a father and son injured in Ojai. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said the accident occurred around 8:15 p.m. in the 200 block of Boardman Road.
Upon arrival, deputies found a 44-year-old man and his 19-year-old son. They were struck by a white pickup that fled the scene.

The fleeing truck later hit another vehicle that was being used to block the truck’s path, in an attempt to stop them, according to officials. Deputies eventually found the truck in an orchard. A helicopter, a drone and a K-9 unit all responded to look for the suspects.
They were found at the home of Maloney and were both taken into custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and hit-and-run.
