Linda, CA (July 26, 2024) The community of Linda, in Yuba County, experienced some excitement on Thursday afternoon. A multi-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of North Beale Road and Alberta Avenue at approximately 1:18 p.m. The collision left one person with non-life-threatening injuries and caused major traffic delays, according to reports.
Three vehicles were traveling through Linda on Thursday afternoon when they suddenly collided for unknown reasons. The force from the collision caused the three vehicles to block traffic at the intersection of North Beale Road and Alberta Avenue.
Police officers with the California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found the three vehicles in the middle of the roadway. They quickly went to each vehicle in an attempt to find anyone in need of medical attention. They found at least one person with non-life-threatening injuries, according to reports. It is unknown, at this time, if the victim was taken to a local hospital or treated at the scene by paramedics.

Officers began investigating the scene by gathering evidence and taking statements from those involved, as well as those who witnessed the accident. They are working to determine not only what caused this three-vehicle accident at a Linda intersection, but also who was responsible. A tow truck was later seen hauling one of the damaged vehicles from the intersection, reports indicated. Crews swept up the debris that had been thrown around the intersection and, finally, traffic was able to resume at a normal pace.
