Tustin, CA (September 5, 2024) Just before 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, four vehicles collided in the town of Tustin. It happened on Interstate 5 in Orange County, according to reports, and left one person with injuries. The vehicles collided near the Red Hill Avenue on-ramp, in the northbound lanes of the interstate.
A Honda CR-V, a green Ford Mustang, a Toyota Sienna and a white Honda were all traveling along northbound Interstate 5 on Wednesday afternoon. Suddenly, the four vehicles collided in the middle of the freeway, causing serious traffic issues in the area.
The California Highway Patrol arrived and quickly began directing traffic away from the scene, reports indicated. Paramedics quickly checked vehicles, prepared to help anyone who had been injured. Reports indicated that they found at least one person with injuries and transported them to a hospital in the area.

Investigators began taking statements from those involved in the collision, as well as those who witnessed it. They requested tow trucks to come and remove the Mustang and the Honda from the roadway, due to the extent of damage they had sustained in the accident.
