Fremont, CA (September 16, 2024) 18-year-old Tristan Peper tragically lost his life on Thursday, September 12 in Fremont. The teenager was riding his motorcycle on Mowry Avenue when he collided with a driver who was attempting a left turn onto Crosspointe Common.
Police are still investigating the collision. The motorist that collided with Peper remained at the scene, and officials reported that they do not believe alcohol or drugs are factors in this crash.
Friends and family have been mourning this loss through vigils and memorials. Students at Washington High School have turned out in droves to pay their respects and remember their classmate.
“Tristan just came out the happiest child that I’ve ever met in my life,” said Tristan’s father, Mark Peper, to KTVU Fox 2. “He was just fearless. If he couldn’t find an adventure, he would make one.”
