Santa Maria, CA (September 17, 2024) A Santa Monica collision involving a FedEx truck left at least one person injured on Friday morning, September 13th, 2024. It happened on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara County, right around 10:00 a.m., according to reports.
A FedEx truck was traveling along Highway 101 in Santa Maria, when it collided with another vehicle. The collision left the vehicles blocking the No. 1 lane of the highway, causing traffic issues in the area. The details surrounding the accident are still unclear at this time, however injuries were reported.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the FedEx truck and the other vehicle blocking the roadway. They had to close the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes, according to reports, and divert traffic around the scene. Officers found at least one person with injuries, but it is unknown if they were taken to a nearby hospital or treated at the scene.
