Fiery Lancaster Crash Claims Two Lives

Two killed in fiery Lancaster collision.

Lancaster, CA (October 21, 2024) Two people tragically lost their lives in a fiery collision in Lancaster early on Sunday morning. The accident occurred on 62nd Street at Avenue K, around 2:40 a.m., according to reports.

It was 2:40 in the morning as a vehicle approached a Lancaster intersection. Officers believe the vehicle was speeding and the driver suddenly lost control. The vehicle went off the road and crashed, causing the car to burst into flames, according to reports.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found the vehicle in flames. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and, sadly, found two people inside the vehicle. Unfortunately, neither person survived the accident and, with heavy hearts, authorities pronounced them both dead at the scene.

Officers reported that the crash was so severe that they found the vehicle’s engine at least 30 feet away from the car. At this time, it is believed that speed was a factor in this deadly accident. However, officers are still investigating to determine what exactly caused the drive to lose control.
