Granada Hills, CA (October 22, 2024) 21-year-old Sebastian Brown was struck by not one, but two hit-and-run drivers on Thursday night, October 17th, 2024. Brown was riding a motorcycle when he was hit by two vehicles that quickly fled the scene. The accident occurred just before 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Etiwanda Avenue and Devonshire Street.
Initial reports indicated that Brown was riding his motorcycle east on Devonshire Street, approaching Louise Avenue. Brown ran a red light and slammed into another vehicle that was heading north on Louise Avenue. The impact threw Brown off the motorcycle and he landed in the westbound lanes of Devonshire Street. Shockingly, a white SUV hit Brown as he lay, injured, in the street. The SUV didn’t stop, but continued driving away from the scene. Moments later, a sedan did the exact same thing.
First responders arrived at the scene and found Sebastian Brown on the ground with fatal injuries. Following the initial investigation and witness statements, they hauled the motorcycle away and began searching for the suspects. The city of Los Angeles has offered a $50,000 reward for anyone who has information that assists officers in solving this case.
