Tracy, CA (October 25, 2024) A pedestrian accident occurred in Tracy on Thursday afternoon, October 24th, 2024. The pedestrian was a Kimball High School student, according to reports, and sustained serious injuries in the accident. It happened around 4:00 p.m. on South Lammers Road.

A teenager was walking on South Lammers Road in Tracy on Thursday afternoon, when they were suddenly struck by a vehicle. The Kimball High School student, described as male, was knocked to the ground and sustained serious injuries in the accident. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and waited for authorities to arrive.

Upon arrival, officers with the Tracy Police Department found the teenager on the ground. He was alive, but seriously injured, reports indicated. An ambulance was called to the scene and the high school student was rushed to a local hospital to receive emergency treatment.

The driver of the vehicle cooperated with police officers during the investigation. Officers continue to work the case in an effort to understand what caused this pedestrian accident in Tracy.
