1 Injured In 3-Vehicle Collision On Interstate 5 In Sacramento

Three-vehicle collision on the 5 Freeway in Sacramento leaves one injured.

Sacramento, CA (October 25, 2024) It was just before 10:30 a.m. in Sacramento when three vehicles collided on the 5 Freeway. Reports indicated that the collision happened near Highway 50 in the southbound lanes. One person was found with injuries following the multi-vehicle collision.

Traffic had grown heavy as vehicles made their way along the Interstate 5 Freeway in Sacramento. Three vehicles suddenly collided in the Southside Park neighborhood on the southbound 5 Freeway. The cause of the collision was unknown, but the three vehicles blocked traffic on the connector near Eastbound Highway 50, reports indicated.

First responders made their way to the scene and found one person with non-life-threatening injuries. Whether or not the victim was treated at the scene or sent to a hospital, has not been disclosed. However, officers continue to investigate in an attempt to determine what exactly happened. They are also working to uncover which driver was responsible for this collision.
