Long Beach, CA (November 5, 2024) German Aragon Enriquez was tragically killed while walking in Long Beach on Saturday evening. The motorist fled the scene.
The crash occurred near Orange Avenue and Anaheim Street around 11 p.m. Enriquez was reportedly walking outside a marked crosswalk when a pickup truck struck him. Police are still searching for the driver of the Chevrolet Silverado.
When officers arrived, they found the victim deceased in the roadway. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner say that he was 62.
