ANAHEIM, CA (NOVEMBER 6, 2023): A bicyclist has been hospitalized from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run in Anaheim early Monday.
The collision occurred at around 12:30 a.m. Monday morning at the intersection of South Euclid Street and West Katella Avenue, when a bicyclist and a vehicle collided for reasons unclear. Dashcam footage from the vehicle reveals that the impact from the collision threw the bicyclist off the bike and into the roadway.

Footage also reveals that the vehicle accelerated and fled the scene instead of stopping and rendering aid to the victim.
The bicyclist was hospitalized, but their current condition remains unknown.
A description of the hit-and-run vehicle has not yet been made available. The exact charges for the driver has not been revealed.
Anaheim authorities will lead an investigation into this hit-and-run that left a bicyclist hospitalized.
