1 Injured In 3-Vehicle Collision On Highway 99, Sacramento

2 children, 3 adults injured in multi-vehicle collision in Folsom.

Sacramento, CA (September 20, 2024) A collision involving three vehicles occurred in the Lemon Hill area of Sacramento County on Thursday morning, September 19th, 2024. The accident took place on Highway 99, not far from the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard off-ramp, and left one person with injuries.

The California Highway Patrol stated that they received the call about the accident at approximately 6:35 a.m. They arrived at the scene and found three vehicles with damage on the northbound highway. Debris littered the roadway, causing traffic hazards, as well. Emergency crews went to the vehicles in search of anyone who needed medical assistance. They found one person with injuries, according to reports. However, there is no news as to whether the victim was transported to a hospital or treated at the scene.

Officers are investigating this collision in an effort to piece together what caused this three-vehicle accident in Sacramento. They are also working to uncover who was responsible for this collision on Highway 99. Tow trucks were called to the scene to remove at least one of the damaged vehicles from the highway and crews worked as quickly as they could to remove the debris.
