Porterville, CA (July 15 2024) A man passed away early Monday morning on July 15. The collision took place in Tulare County.
At about 5:30 a.m., the driver, a 49-year-old man from Strathmore, was driving a GMC south on Highway 90 Road 208. At the same time, a semi-truck driver hauling two trailers was heading west on the same road.
The GMC driver ran a stop sign and hit the right side of one of the truck’s trailers as the truck passed the intersection. Tragically, the GMC driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
He also had two passengers in his car who were rushed to Kaweah Health for treatment of their injuries. Their current condition is not known at this time.
