Fremont, CA (October 15, 2023) At least 1 person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 680 in Fremont on Saturday, October 14th. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 1:15 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate.

The accident took place near the Auto Mall Parkway off-ramp. Authorities said that one of the vehicles involved, overturned and caught on fire. Emergency crews arrived to find 1 person dead, but no other information was given.
