Stockton, CA (November 24, 2023) Two people were injured on Thanksgiving Day following a 2-vehicle crash outside of the Stockton Police Department. Authorities reported that the accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on South Center Street and East Market Street, near a 7-Eleven.
Officers said that one of the vehicles was tilted on its side, against a crosswalk signal as well as a Stockton Police Department sign, following the collision. Both the sign and the signal were destroyed in the collision. The second car involved in the crash had slammed, head-on, into a light post at some point during or after the collision.

Fire fighters and medical personnel arrived at the scene, along with the Stockton Police Department. Paramedics found two injured people and took them to a local hospital for treatment to injuries they sustained in the crash. The extent of their injuries has not been released.
Officers had to block traffic for a while so they could gather evidence and try to determine what caused this 2-vehicle crash in Stockton and who was liable.
