Santa Maria, CA (October 4, 2023) 2 people were injured on Tuesday morning, October 3, 2023, on Highway 101 in Santa Maria. According to Capt. Scott Safechuck of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the accident occurred around 3:44 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol, Santa Barbara County Fire Department, and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Officer were all dispatched to the scene. It happened on the northbound Highwya 101 at Santa Maria Way.

Upon arrival, officers found two adults who were injured, a male driver, and a female passenger inside a vehicle that had rolled over and landed on its roof. The occupants were all trapped inside the car and had to be extracted.
