ADELANTO, CA (OCTOBER 14, 2023): Two people were killed and another hospitalized following a fiery collision in Adelanto Friday night.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred just before 8:30 p.m. on Route 395 near Air Expressway Boulevard. Reports indicate that three vehicles were involved in the crash. One vehicle, a 2004 Chevy Malibu, burst into flames with two people inside.

A responding deputy was able to remove one passenger of the 2004 Chevy from the passenger’s window. They were then airlifted to the hospital.
Civilians assisted another deputy with the removal of the driver of the second vehicle, a 2014 Chevy Malibu.
Unfortunately, the drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the third vehicle, a 2018 Nissan, was uninjured.
The circumstances leading up to this collision remain unclear. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of this fiery collision in Adelanto.
