Las Vegas, NV (September 23, 2024) Two people were killed and two juveniles were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Northeast Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon. It all happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Kell Lane and North Lamb Boulevard, according to reports.
Initial reports indicated that a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali, driven by a 16-year-old boy, was speeding north on Lamb Boulevard. A 2008 Nissan Sentra approached the intersection of Kell Lane and stopped at a stop sign. After stopping, the Nissan attempted to cross the intersection. The GMC barreled through the intersection at a high rate of speed at the same time. It slammed into the driver’s side of the Nissan, officers reported.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department quickly arrived at the scene and found the two vehicles with major damage in the middle of the intersection. Inside the Nissan, officers found a 67-year-old driver and a 54-year-old passenger. Both had received been killed in the collision, officers reported. Sadly, they were pronounced dead at the scene. The 16-year-old driver of the GMC and an 11-year-old passenger were both taken to a local hospital, reports indicated.

The LVMPD Collision Investigation Section is still investigating this accident in Las Vegas. They are working to determine what happened at that intersection. Two trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the scene and crews cleaned up the debris as quickly as they could.
