Hollywood, CA (October 18, 2023) 3 people were injured early Wednesday morning in a collision in Hollywood, according to The Los Angeles Fire Department. 2 of the injured were in critical condition following the collision.

It happened shortly after 2:00 a.m. at 2346 N. Cahuenga Boulevard, east of the Hollywood (101) Freeeway, according to Brian Humphrey, LAFD spokesperson. Humphrey told City News Service that a vehicle was driving down Hollywood Freeway when, for reasons unknown, it ran off the freeway and crashed. The vehicle then burst into flames.
The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took all three occupants of the vehicle to a local hospital for treatment. 2 of the occupants were in critical condition.
Authorities are still investigating to determine what exactly happened in Hollywood.
