It was right around 10:00 p.m. in Carson as vehicles traveled along the 405 Freeway. For reasons that remain unknown, three vehicles collided near the Avalon Boulevard exit. Following the initial collision, one of the vehicles spun out and struck a pedestrian, according to reports. The damaged vehicles blocked lanes of the freeway and debris caused traffic hazards.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian on the ground.
