THERMAL, CA (NOVEMBER 12, 2023): Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash near an intersection in the Thermal neighborhood of Riverside County last week.
The Riverside County Fire Department reports that the incident occurred on Friday, November 10th in the area of Grapefruit Boulevard and Avenue 60. Fire crews received reports of a two-vehicle collision around 10:32 a.m., and responded to the scene shortly after.

Upon their arrival, they discovered the two vehicles with clear signs of collision at the intersection. One vehicle was overturned from the impact of the crash, and an individual needed extraction from a vehicle. It is unclear which vehicle this victim was occupying at the time of impact.
Paramedics treated four people with injuries at the scene. Three individuals were then transported to the hospital via ambulance for further treatment. Paramedics requested airlift for a fourth victim in more critical condition, and they were then transported via helicopter to a trauma center.
The extent of the injured or their identities have not been reported as of yet.
