Fremont, CA (June 13, 2024) A violent collision occurred Wednesday evening in Fremont. A 61-year-old man named Robert Kwok Yu was tragically killed in the crash.
This terrible collision occurred around 10:19-10:20 p.m. on June 12. It took place on Interstate 880 in the northbound lanes, right next to the Fremont Boulevard South off-ramp. Investigations are still ongoing, but the initial reports from California Highway Patrol state that at least six vehicles were involved in this incident.
According to the CHP, every northbound lane was blocked throughout Wednesday night following this horrific accident. They reopened the lanes Thursday morning.

As reported by California Highway Patrol, despite there being at least six vehicles involved in this awful event, no significant injuries were reported. All other parties involved seem to have left the scene without being hurt.
