6-Car Pileup in Buena Park: 3 in Hospital After Violent Crash

4 injured in San Bruno rollover collision on 280 Freeway.

Buena Park, CA (June 26, 2024) A violent and intense collision occurred in Buena Park Tuesday evening. At least six cars were involved.

The crash took place at the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Beach Boulevard. The Orange County Fire Authority reports that it occurred around 4 p.m.

Apparently, a driver in a white Tesla was speeding when they crashed (possibly in a head-on collision). This caused the Tesla to flip over and strike other vehicles.

The firefighters and police who responded to the scene saw that two cars had overturned: the Tesla and another. They had to extract two people who were trapped in those vehicles, and three victims were sent to the hospital with injuries.

Witnesses provided more details of the incident to KTLA. Tiffany Russell talked to reporters, stating, “I was sitting at the red light, waiting for a red light and I saw this person [speeding] toward us at over 100 miles per hour…She smacked the cars right next to me. I don’t know how she missed me.”

Authorities are still investigating the serious crash and determining if drugs or alcohol were involved. As of the latest reports, we do not know if those in the hospital are in stable condition.
