Salinas, CA (July 8, 2024) A collision on Salinas Road left seven people with injuries. California Highway Patrol stated that they believe alcohol was involved.
At about 11:01 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, a 34-year-old man was driving an Infiniti FX35 southbound on Salinas Road. They drifted into the northbound lanes and crashed head-on into a Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 23-year-old man from Moss Landing.
The man in the Chevrolet and a passenger, a juvenile, were rushed to the hospital with “moderate-to-major” injuries. The driver of the Infinity and four oof his passenfers were also hospitalized.
At least two of the people in the Infiniti suffered broken bones, while two others suffered head or neck injuries.
The Infiniti driver was arrested.
