Santa Clara, CA (October 28, 2024) The community of Santa Clara is saddened following a collision that claimed two lives at 12:36 this morning. 911 Communications Dispather Priscilla Jones, 35, and one other Person were killed in this collision. The two-vehicle collision took place on Highway 25 at the Bolsa Road intersection, according to Cal Fire.
It was after midnight as two vehicles drove along Highway 25 in Santa Clara on Monday, October 28th. The cause of the collision remains a mystery, but officers arrived to find two vehicles with severe damage, according to reports. They hurried to the vehicles, prepared to give medical aid to anyone who had been injured. They found one person deceased inside of one of the vehicles. Another person had sustained life-threatening injuries. First responders did everything they could to save the victim’s life, but they succumbed to their injuries. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. One of the deceased was later identified as Priscilla Jones, a 911 Dispatcher.
Officers continue to investigate this accident in an effort to determine what happened on Highway 25 and who was at fault. A large portion of Highway 25 was closed for several hours during the investigation and cleanup, according to reports. It was finally reopened around 4:00 a.m.
