Aaron Cobb dead in bicycle crash on Cotner Avenue in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (November 24, 2023) – 46 year old bicyclist Aaron Cobb was tragically killed on Tuesday, November 24th, in a bicycle crash on Cotner Avenue in Los Angeles, California. Officer K. Chavez of the Los Angeles Police Department reported that the accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection with Santa Monica Boulevard.

According to the LAPD, Cobb was riding his bike at the intersection when he was hit by a passing car, causing severe injuries. The driver then fled the scene with out assisting Cobb, turning this into a hit-and-run.

Passersby noticed the accident and reported it quickly to authorities. Paramedics responded to the accident but sadly the bicyclist succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was later identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

Police are urgently investigating the death of Aaron Cobb. They are even offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the vehicle and driver involved in the crash.
