Andrew Reyes, 21, Killed In Indio Single-Vehicle Crash

Up to five people sustained various injuries on Friday, November 10th, due to a rollover crash on Chester Avenue in Bakersfield, California.

Indio, CA (July 23, 2024) A 21-year-old was tragically killed in a single-vehicle crash on the evening of Sunday, July 21.

Andrew Reyes was driving in Indio when he reportedly lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons. The car rolled over and crashed into a Spectrum pole, ejecting Reyes.

The crash happened at about 11:36 p.m. right in front of the Palm Shadow Inn near Youngs Lane. Paramedics rushed to the scene and took Reyes, a resident of Mecca, to the hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.

Indio Police Department spokesman Benjamin Guitron told local outlets that officers are still investigating the accident. It appears that no other vehicles were involved and no other injuries were reported. Anyone with information regarding the accident is encouraged to call the Indio Police Department to help the investigation.
