At Least 1 Injured In Multi-Vehicle Collision On Highway 99 In Ceres

Ceres, CA (October 7, 2024) Several vehicles collided on Highway 99 in Ceres on Sunday morning, October 6th, 2024. The collision occurred just before 9:30 a.m. and caused a pileup on Highway 99, according to reports, At least one person sustained injuries in this accident.

For reasons that remain unknown, at least four vehicles collided on Highway 99 in Ceres. The collision caused a pile-up on the highway and left at least one person with injuries, reports indicated. The damaged vehicles blocked a portion of the highway and debris was tossed in every direction.

The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found the damaged vehicles in the middle of Highway 99. Paramedics found at least one person with non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, it is unknown if they were transported to a hospital or treated at the scene.

Officers gathered evidence and took statements before requesting tow trucks to come and remove the damaged vehicles from the highway. Crews worked to clean up the debris that was left behind and officers are determined to understand what happened. They are also working to determine who was responsible for this multi-vehicle pile up on Highway 99.
