BALDWIN PARK, CA (May 10, 2022) – A Baldwin Park bus accident involving several vehicles left many injured and taken to the hospital on Friday night.
Police responded to the accident around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Ramona Boulevard and Downing Avenue where at least three vehicles had collided with each other.
At least four were injured in the crash, including one person with critical injuries and head trauma. Two others were reported to have minor to moderate injuries and were also taken to the hospital.
The violent crash sent debris flying to nearby train tracks, forcing a Metrolink train to stop at the tracks.
Dozens of officers arrived to contain the scene and investigate the crash. Police officers advised commuters to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
No other details about the crash were available at the time of this report, and the cause of the accident is still being investigated.
