Diamond Bar, CA (July 1, 2024) A terrible multi-vehicle crash occurred early Saturday, leaving one woman fatally injured and two more people in need of hospitalization. At about 3:07 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched to the Pomona (60) Freeway at South Lemon Avenue, just east of Fairway Drive.
There, they saw a black Tesla and an overturned Honda Civic laying on its roof. The cars were blocking the middle lanes of the freeway.
Tragically, a young woman, Crystal Cruz Robledo, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was only 19.
It’s unclear at this time which car belonged to Robledo. The circumstances of the accident have also not been released yet.
Two other people involved in this accident were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at the time of writing.
