Harbor City, CA (June 28, 2024)
On June 20, a driver caused a huge collision before running away from the scene. The suspect, who initial reports state is a man, was driving a minivan when he crashed into three parked cars. It landed on a parked silver Honda convertible that was pushed into and wedged underneath a Mercedes.
Three of the four vehicles impacted by the crash were totaled. It doesn’t appear that anyone was within the parked cars, but it does seem that there were passengers in the minivan. At least three people were injured in the crash. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene of the accident and rushed them to the hospital. Some of the victims were seen being loaded onto stretchers. We don’t know at this time if they are in stable condition.
The suspect had run away from the scene with drugs and a potential weapon. It’s suspected he was driving under the influence.
