High-Speed Chase In Inland Empire Leaves 2 Injured

2 injured when high speed chase ends in collision in Rancho Cucamonga.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA (October 7, 2024) Two people sustained injuries when a high speed police chase ended in a collision. The accident occurred on Saturday night, October 5th, 2024, in the Inland Empire, according to reports. It happened at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Etiwanda Avenue, at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Officers said the vehicle was fleeing at a high rate of speed, when the driver ran a red light at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Etiwanda Avenue. After running the red light, the vehicle collided with another car at the intersection.

Officers with the Fontana Police Department arrived at the scene and found the two damaged vehicles blocking the intersection. Officers found two passengers in the other vehicle with injuries. They were both taken to a local hospital, via ambulance, with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the fleeing vehicle was seen in handcuffs, according to reports.
