(Phillipsville, CA) A hit-and-run turned into a traffic collision on Highway 101 near Phillipsville.
On Tuesday, April 29 at 11:43 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received a call regarding the Highway 101 crash occurring by Hooker Creek Road.
When the CHP received the reports, it initially started off as a hit-and-run with no injuries. At some point, that incident caused a traffic collision involving three to four cars.
After investigating, CHP officers confirmed a Dodge utility truck as the cause of the Highway 101 crash. The damaged vehicle, a Subaru Ascent, required towing.
