Kenneth Amey of Reno Killed in Car Crash

Reno, NV (June 17, 2024) Today, Nevada State Police finally identified the driver who was killed in a tragic accident on May 31. He was Kenneth Amey, a 25-year-old from Reno. The accident has been under investigation for over two weeks now.

Authorities report that Kenneth Amey was driving southbound on U.S. 395 before the crash occurred. He was coming up to the Clear Acre Lane offramp in his 1998 Ford Explorer when–for reasons still unclear–his vehicle veered into the center median of the road.

This impact caused his car to rotate, sending it across the southbound lanes and down an embankment of dirt. Even worse, Kenneth Amey was ejected from the vehicle as it tumbled down the hill. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
