Man Injured In Two-Vehicle Sacramento Crash On Hwy 160

Sacramento, CA (September 20, 2024) A two-vehicle collision occurred in Sacramento on Thursday morning, September 19, 2024, leaving one with injuries. It happened around 6:22 a.m. near Walnut Grove, on Highway 160.

It was early morning in Sacramento as vehicles drove along Highway 160. Suddenly, for reasons that are unknown, two vehicles collided on the highway, not far from Walnut Grove. The damaged vehicles blocked the roadway and caused traffic issues in the area, reports indicated.

Officers arrived at the scene and found one person with injuries. Paramedics arrived and transported the man to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for these injuries. Reports indicated that the man was admitted to the hospital, however the extend of his injuries is still unknown.

Officers gathered evidence and took statements at the scene. They are working to not only piece together what happened on that stretch of highway in Sacramento, but also to determine who was responsible for this two-vehicle accident on Highway 160. A tow truck was requested to remove at least one of the vehicle from the scene and crews worked to clear the debris from the roadway so traffic could resume normally.
