Orcutt, CA (November 24, 2023) – 33 year old Mark Lee Rogers from Paso Robles was fatally injured on Sunday, November 19th, in a tragic pedestrian accident on Highway 135 in Orcutt, California. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 12:34 a.m.
The CHP reported that Rogers was walking along Highway 135 wen he was hit by at least one passing vehicle. Both the CHP and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and when they arrived on the scene to find the severely injured Rogers, the vehicle responsible had already fled the scene.

Paramedics responded to the accident, but Rogers had already succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police are actively investigating the death of Mark Lee Rogers, hoping to identify the vehicle and driver involved in the accident.
