(Jurupa Valley, CA) A crash involving a single vehicle killed Monette Alvarez in Jurupa Valley.
On Saturday, April 26 at 4:55 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received calls of a fiery vehicle crash in Jurupa Valley on State Routh 60, just east of La Rue Street.
When CHP officers investigated the accident, they discovered Monette Alvarez, 38, travelled on the freeway. All of a sudden, she struck the center divider wall, and the vehicle caught on fire shortly after.
Once first responders arrived at the scene, they pulled Alvarez out from the fully engulfed vehicle. After a representative from the coroner’s office arrived at the crash site, they pronounced the Alvarez dead on scene.
