Multi-Vehicle Collision Injures Three On 405 Freeway In Bel Air

1 injured in three-vehicle crash on 91 Freeway in Anaheim.

Bel Air, Los Angeles, CA (August 26, 2024) A multi-vehicle accident occurred on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Bel Air on Sunday, August 25, 2024. The collision involved at least 4 vehicles and left three people with injuries. It happened around 9:30 p.m., not far from Mulholland Drive.

911 calls began coming in, reporting a multi-vehicle crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway. Witnesses told dispatch that the accident was causing traffic to back up and that one of the vehicles involved was on fire.

The Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene and managed to make its way through the traffic jam. Paramedics began checking each of the four vehicles involved to help anyone in need. Reports indicated that they found two woman and one man with injuries. A  child was also evaluated at the scene and but reports suggested that they had only minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Paramedics took the three adults to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.

Officers began investigating the accident and are determined to not only figure out what caused it, but also who was at fault. A tow truck was called to the scene to remove at least one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway, following the investigation.
