The collision blocked most of the US-95 highway, causing the once steady flow of traffic to come to a stand still. Witnesses described the collision as chaotic, according to Las Vegas traffic reports.
Officers arrived at the scene and found several vehicles with damage, stopped in the middle of the highway. They began going from vehicle to vehicle to see who was injured and needed help. Reports indicated that officers discovered several people with injuries following this collision. They are not exactly sure what happened but it seems that there was an initial collision that led to other vehicles hitting the first two vehicles that collided.
Paramedics at he scene took several people to local hospitals to receive treatment for injuries. At this time, it is unknown how many were injured or how severe the injuries were.
